Reconciliation

I was pleased to read the recent post on the Palm Developer Network blog from Pam Deziel, VP of Developer Marketing at Palm, presenting an optimistic outlook on the relationship between Palm and preDevCamp

I’m very excited at the prospect of support from Palm. I’ve spoken with Pam and we’ve exchanged emails and she’s promised Palm’s full support. I truly welcome this and we’ll be working together to determine what shape this support will take.

It’s been a bumpy week for all concerned, but we’ve turned a corner here. Kudos and gratitude for Palm for engaging with us in this way. Full steam ahead for preDevCamp!

    Woot!! Thanks to all who helped create this outcome of Palm supporting preDev Camp! Many, many of us here in Austin Texas USA are so primed and ready to support Palm’s sales here.

    It’s nice to see everyone acting with such class, dignity and mutual respect, which is right in line with an organization that spans so many countries.

    webOS is going to change the game, the Pre is what everyone is going to be running with, and the best part….
    everybody wins!

    Good point cutter.

    I’m working with Palm to find out what they mean by “full” support. I’m confident that it will be more than just lip service to the concept of preDevCamp. There’ll be an update on this matter soon.
